I'm Kevin (Cường). I have spent ten years building trips in Vietnam and five years in the markets: stocks, crypto, gold and forex. Green Candle Journeys is where those two lives meet.
Why a travel company for traders?
For ten years my job has been showing travellers Vietnam: hotels, drivers, guides, the food, the small things that make a trip go right. My team also runs Vietnam Pickleball Travel, so we move groups around this country every month.
Five years ago I started trading. I know the green days, the drawdowns, and the nights you want to quit. I also noticed that traders don't travel like other people. The London open lands at 2 or 3 pm in Vietnam and New York at 8 or 9 pm, so a trader's perfect day here is a free morning, a session in the afternoon and a late one at night. Most tours are built the other way round.
So I built trips around the sessions: rooms with a real desk and fast internet, mornings kept free, and a person on WhatsApp who understands why you can't be on a boat at 8:30 pm on NFP night. Or, if you need it, a trip where you switch off completely. We sell travel, not signals. I will never tell you what to trade.

How the Trader Playbook guides are made.
The Trader Playbook is written for people who will act on it: book a room, set an alarm, plan a session. So we hold it to a few rules.
Times and dates from the source
Release dates come from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Federal Reserve. Session times are worked out from the exchanges' own hours and checked against clock changes in the US, UK and Europe.
Places we actually know
City guides, cafés and room checklists come from places my team works in every month. Where a photo is ours, we say so; where it isn't, we credit it.
Published and updated dates
Every guide shows when it was published and last checked. When a rule, a visa fee or a schedule changes, we update the page and the date.
No sponsored posts
No hotel, café or broker has paid to appear in a guide. If that ever changes, the post will say so at the top.
Travel, not trading calls
We write about when markets open and where to trade from, never about what to buy or sell. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
